Does anyone have any information on EM2 John Hinote or EM2 Harrold "Harry" Wentworth? They were crew members for the 1968-1969 West Pack cruise and I also think they were on board for the on cruise when The Higbee was attacked by the Vietnamese Mig! I have been checking every where and cant find a way to make contact. michael Hutson Sr. [ekim025@verizon.net]

We were ashore at an army base and his leg got caught in the landing craft propellar as we were leaving. it was near Vung Tau I beleive. My name is Jack Faude and my rank was LTJG and I was the 1st Lt at he time. Any info would help. thanks

I'm trying to locate a few men from the Higbee from when it was in Seattle around 1980.  But I can't remember their last names.  I was their bartender then and took care of them.  Is there some way you could help in this?  There only 3 or 4 I'm looking for.

Hi Shipmates, Does anyone happen to know the whereabouts of Ted Vaughn? He was a machinist mate and was aboard approx. 63 - 67. I believe he was from Tennessee originally. It would be great if I could locate him and try to get him to show up at St. Louis this fall. Let me know if you have any news about Ted. Thanks Dave Wilson, SM1, 63 - 68. sharonbwilson@comcast.net
